Why should I sell on GETIT.QA?

Who can sell on GETIT.QA?

You represent that You, in your individual capacity and/or as an authorized representative of the company with valid Commercial Registration for listing as a seller on the Website, are competent to entering into a lawful contract under any law in Qatar.

What are the documents required to register as a seller on GETIT.QA?

Legal Documents such as copy of valid Commercial Registration, Signatory Card (computer card), Municipal License, ID proof(s), etc.

How do I sell on GETIT.QA?

  1. Submit your registration request with us (click here).
  2. Complete the vendor pre-qualification process
  3. Upon approval of your Registration, list your products/service under the appropriate categories.
  4. Once an order is received, pack the product and get ready for pick-up. Our logistics partner will pick up the product and deliver it to the customer.
  5. Once an order is successfully delivered, GETIT.QA will settle your payment within 7 to 10 business days based on your Commercial term.

Can I offer both products and services on GETIT.QA?

Yes, you can sell/offer both products and services on GETIT.QA. However, those products with exact selling price are able to list under the normal selling procedure. Remaining product/service(s) which are not able to display with exact selling price, have an option available under the RFQ (Request for Quote) module, where customer can raise an inquiry directly with seller.

Do I need to ship my products to GETIT.QA/Customer?

All you need to do is pack the product and keep it ready for dispatch. GETIT.QA’s Logistic partner (LSP) will pick up the product from you and deliver it to the customer.  Some cases, you may have to directly ship the product to customers such as white goods, industrial products, high value products, etc.

Who decides the price of the products?

As a seller, you will have right to set the price of your products comply with local law and regulation.  Seller should ensure to maintain the least selling pricing at GETIT.QA to compare with his other sales channels

Will I get charged for listing product/service on GETIT.QA?

Listing of products on GETIT.QA is FREE. We do not charge for listing your catalogue online. You only pay a small commission for what you sell through GETIT.QA

Listing of Service on GETIT.QA has a minimal charge. Please contact us for your suitable plan (click here).

When can I start selling on GETIT.QA?

Upon approval of your Registration request, list your products/service under the appropriate categories.

Further, upon our QA Team approval, your products will be live on website.

Is there any minimum product listing required to start selling on GETIT.QA?

There is no minimum number of products required to start selling with us. You can start with even a single product, but you should maintain enough inventory to meet the sales requirement.

How and when will I get paid?

In normal case, once an order is successfully delivered, GETIT.QA will settle your payment within 7 to 10 business days based on your Commercial term (Payment term will vary based on sales volume and as per our mutual Agreement).

 

2. Pricing and Payments

Who decides the price of the product?

As a seller, you will have right to set the price of your products comply with local law and regulation.  Seller should ensure to maintain the least selling pricing at GETIT.QA to compare with his other sales channels

What are the fees charged on GETIT.QA for Product Listing?

Seller should agree and acknowledge to pay GETIT.QA, the GETIT.QA Marketing Fees, Courier Fees and Payment Collection Fees, Fulfillment Centre Charges and any other fees, as provided in Commercial Term Segment (if any applicable), for all the orders received through GETIT.QA

“GETIT.QA’s Marketing Fees” shall mean a percentage of the Selling Price payable to GETIT.QA by the Seller on the sale of any Product through the Website. This percentage may vary from Product to Product, as provided in the Commercial Term Segment.

“Courier Fees” shall mean the fees payable to GETIT.QA for availing of the courier services through GETIT.QA’s Courier Partners (“Courier Partner” whom GETIT.QA has partnered for couriering / delivering) and shall mean the courier fees as may be provided from time to time in the Commercial Term Segment.

“Fulfillment Centre Charges” is applicable to the delivery model wherein the seller may keep the products in one of our designated fulfilment center along with a detailed inventory of the same and GETIT.QA or it’s associates shall be responsible to package and dispatch the products to the buyers as per the orders received by the seller from time to time and in accordance with the directions of the seller

“Packaging Material Charges” shall mean the charges for any additional packing material as may be required to ensure the product to be delivered in good condition.

“Payment Collection Fees” shall mean the fees (or percentage of order value) as may be provided in the Commercial Term Segment as payment collection fees.

Note: Not Applicable to the Service listing RFQ Module

The net amount receivable by the Seller after deduction of the GETIT.QA’s Marketing Fees, Payment Collection Fees, Courier Fees, Fulfillment Centre Charges (if any applicable) and other charges (if any) from the Selling Price.

What are the fees charged on GETIT.QA for Product Listing?

How and when do I get paid?

All payments are made through Bank Transfers. The payment is made directly to your bank account as per your Commercial Terms.

In normal case, once an order is successfully delivered, GETIT.QA will settle your payment within 7 to 10 business days based on your Commercial term (Payment term will vary based on sales volume and as per our mutual Agreement).

 

3. Listings and Catalog

What is Product listing?

“Product(s) Listing” shall mean the product(s), made available by the Seller for sale on the Website with necessary information like price, inventory, detailed description and adding images of the product so that a customer can make an informed buying decision.

What is Service listing?

“Service(s) Listing” shall mean the service(s), made available by the Seller for ‘Request for Quote’ on the Website with necessary information like detailed description and adding images of the service so that a customer can make an enquiry directly to the seller.

How do I list my products/service on GETIT.QA?

We will help you to list your products/service. We will send you an Excel format for you to fill the details regarding your product/service and send it back to us. If we need more details we will call you otherwise we will update you about your product listing date.

How many products/services do I need to list to start selling?

There is no minimum number of products/services required to start selling with us. You can start with even a single product, but you should maintain enough inventory to meet the sales requirement.

Can I get help for development of catalog (product images, description, etc.)?

Yes, we are happy to help you at every stage while doing business with us. We help you connect with industry experts for the development of your catalogs (such as for professional photos, image editing, description writing, etc.)

How does a catalog partner help me?

Our catalog partners develop high-quality photographs of your products and crisp product descriptions for your product catalog. A good catalog gives your customers a better understanding of your products and helps boost your sales.

How do I price my products?

“Selling Price” shall mean the price of a Product in QAR at which such a Product is offered for sale by the Seller to the prospective buyer on the Website.  As a seller, you will have right to set the price of your products comply with local law and regulation.  Seller should ensure to maintain the least selling pricing at GETIT.QA to compare with his other sales channels.

When pricing products on GETIT.QA, please account for the applicable Fees (payable to GETIT.QA), if any tax and include a suitable margin for you to arrive at the Selling Price.

Will I get charged for listing products on GETIT.QA?

Listing of products on GETIT.QA is FREE. We do not charge for listing your catalogue online. You only pay a small commission for what you sell through GETIT.QA

4. Order Management and Shipping

How do I know, when I get new order(s) on GETIT.QA?

Whenever a customer places an order, we send you an e-mail alert.

Who takes care of the delivery of my products?

Sellers should fulfil all orders within 48 hours to avoid automatic cancellation of the orders, unless it is customized products. The 48 hours are counted from the time where the order was received and notified. Once product is ready for dispatch, seller needs to print the invoice (1 original & 1 copy) & delivery note, handover the product and get signed the Delivery Note (with date & time) by the Logistic Partner assigned by GETIT.QA. This signed copy is for your record and our account reconciliation. Standard SLA is 48 hours for all orders, except customized products.

Similarly, for Seller Shipment orders, Seller should do delivery within 48 hours and mail the delivery details (invoice copy, receipt of delivery note) to GETIT.QA (sellershelp@getit.qa)  within 24 hours of Hand Over.

What should I do if the provided delivery area is not serviceable?

In the event Buyer's order is not serviceable (such as industrial plants, military base, oil rigs, access permit required etc.) by logistic service providers or by Seller or the delivery address is not located in an area that is covered under the order confirmation form, Buyer may provide an alternate shipping address on which the Product can be delivered by the logistics service provider or by the Seller.

Does GETIT.QA provide packaging material?

Yes. We will provide the packing materials for the normal products (plastic cover, small and medium type carton boxes, sealing tape). But, for the white good, industrial products, seller should arrange their own packing materials, which impresses the customers and ensures your products remain undamaged.

We have a strong network of best packaging material providers in the industry. We can connect you with them to get good quality packaging material, if required.

 

5. Returns and Seller Protection

What protection does GETIT.QA offer in case of lost/damaged goods and fraudulent customer claims?

Yes. GETIT.QA offers seller protection for the lost/damaged goods while shipping by our logistic partner and fraudulent customer claims. We will update to you more about ‘Seller Resolution Policy’ during your seller registration process.

Would I get compensation if the customer has returned damaged products?

Yes. GETIT.QA offers seller protection for the damaged product by customer or by Logistic Partner during return of product as per our policy in this regard. We will update to you more about ‘Seller Resolution Policy’ during your seller registration process.

Should I need a company registered in Qatar to list in your website?

No. Any companies from outside Qatar can also register with us for the SERVICE Listing through the option available under RFQ module (Request for Quote). But not allowed to register for the product listing as per our present policy.

How do I update my product’s price and inventory?

Our customer service team will assist you in this regard or provide access to your seller panel on GETIT.QA for self-updating

If I fail to fulfill the order (out of stock) or breach SLA, is there any penalties?

Yes. We will update to you more about ‘ORDER FULFILLMENT & SHIPPING POLICY’ during your seller registration process.

GETIT.QA have any right to reduce the price other than suggested by the seller?

Yes. During promotion, we may reduce the price apart from the seller proceedings with the consent from seller.

Should I appoint a staff from my end to monitor the website or Should I take any additional efforts to manage your website?

No. Present scenario GETIT.QA will do the website update.

Can anyone other than the seller, modify my product listing?

No. The access limited only to GETIT.QA staffs

How can I put offers on GETIT.QA?

If you need to run a promotion for your products on GETIT.QA, first of all, you have to provide the approval from statutory departments, if necessary. You have the options available on GETIT.QA to create ‘Discount Codes’ and ‘Gift Vouchers’ for issuing the same to your customers for apply/redeem in check-out page.

How will you promote my product to increase my sale?

We promote your products through following channels (Regular/paid):

Banners on GETIT.QA’s Website and Mobile Apps | SEO, SEM and Direct/Email Marketing.

Social Media Marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, WhatsApp, Blog, etc.) |

Radio/TV Advertisement |Leaflets & Pamphlets | Promotion through Stage shows & Events.

What can be done if the product price has been wrongly listed on website and we received an order?

The Selling Price is provided on the Website on 'as is' basis as provided by the Seller and it is seller’s responsibility to update regularly the inventory and price with GETIT.QA. There may be errors in Selling Price which should be corrected by the Seller at any time and any acceptance of offer of sale by the Buyer of the Products subject to such wrong selling price shall, subject to discretion of the Seller with GETIT.QA

How will you manage the payment collection from customer?

We have multiple options for the payment collection as follows through our logistic partner:

  • Cash/Card on Delivery – Regular purchase whereas the shipping and billing addresses are same.
  • Advance Cash/Card payment collection and Transfer/Deposit to our bank account - This method will be used when the shipping and billing addresses are different (gift items purchased) or for custom made product.
  • Service listing under RFQ module, seller will directly collect the payment from customer as per their agreement.

Will you provide the customer list to us or other sellers?

No. We do not provide the customer list or data to any of the sellers. Customer list and information will be protected as per privacy policy.

Will you handle after sales service to customer?

No. After sales service will be handled by the respective seller or manufacturer.

Customer want to return product due quality issue, who decided the quality product?

Quality means meet the requirement. Product does not match with the described details/features, customer will have the right to raise an issue. Resolution will be complied with the TRUST DEAL Policy.

Will my product/service listing request be rejected by GETIT.QA?

Yes. If not complied with the TRUST DEAL Policy

How can I cancel my selling account?

Normal Product listing seller can cancel their account at any time with an official mail notification subject to account reconciliation.

Note: Service listing under RFQ Module account may not be cancelled prior to end of contract.
